The Basics

1. What are some benefits of hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

  • There’s no need to worry about employee taxes, IRS reporting, sick days or vacations.

  • Virtual Assistants don't need your office space.

  • Save money on equipment and electricity costs.

  • You don't pay for employee benefits.

  • There are no long term commitments.

  • You don't have to stress with managing more employees.

  • No downtime costs, especially with our roll-over hours (you're welcome!).

2. What are the working hours of my VA?

Standard working hours are from 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, in your time zone. We would recognize your country’s holidays.

3. Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Absolutely! There are no hidden fees or commitments.

4. Do you have a guarantee?

We sure do! If you are not satisfied with our service, you can cancel anytime.  Within 10 days, we'll refund the hours that have not been used.

5. Do you have a contract?

No. You're billed on a month-by-month basis. However, we do offer a discount for a 3 or 6-month commitment, in which you would pay 3 or 6 months in advance.

6. How do you protect my passwords?

Don't worry, we won't even see them. You and your VA will use a free software called ‘Last Pass'. Your VA will be able to login using your credentials without ever seeing your password.

7. How do you handle privacy?

We take your privacy very seriously. Any information that we gather from you will be kept in strict confidentiality and will never be shared with anyone outside our company. We advise you to only share information that you are completely comfortable sharing.

 

We have our own Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) that all team members must sign before they can join our team. For additional security, you may request that all our team members sign your own NDA.

2. How do I start working with my VA?

  1. Once you sign up with us, we will contact you to find out what your needs are and how we can best help you.

  2. From our roster of Virtual Assistants, we’ll choose the one that best suits your specific needs.

  3. You're introduced to your VA, so you can get to know one another and exchange information.

  4. Once you've been acquainted, your Virtual Assistant will begin on the tasks you assign them and deliver timely, high-quality results.

3. How do I communicate with my VA?

You can use your preferred communication channel. Some of the most common channels include email, Skype, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

4. Can I change my VA?

Yes. We want you to be happy with your VA, so if you feel like your VA is not a good fit, we are happy to set you up with another one.

5. What happens to unused hours?

Extra hours will be rolled over to the following  month, but will only be valid for 10 days.

Getting Started with AssistaPal

1. What are the payment options?

We accept payments online via PayPal, or through bank or wire transfer. If you prefer the later, contact us for details.

2. Do you have a pay-as-you-go plan?

Yes, but this is only available to clients who have at least subscribed to our Part Time Plan in the past. You have the option to purchase a certain number of hours to use as needed. However, we can’t promise to provide a dedicated VA for this plan, so it’s possible a different VA will work on some of your tasks. The hourly rate for this is 15 USD.
